Job summary

IntrepidGS is seeking an HVAC Master Mechanic to install, service and repair environmental-control systems across residential, retail, and office spaces. You will work from blueprints, lay out and install ductwork, assemble chassis parts, and test refrigerant circuits in large facilities.

The role requires a strong background in refrigeration theory, pipefitting, and controls integration, with extensive hands-on experience and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5 to 7 years journey-level HVAC experience.
• Completion of HVAC apprenticeship, FREON recovery certificate.
• Consideration will be given to relevant professional experience commensurate with assignment.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and repair HVAC systems in residences, department stores, offices and other commercial establishments.
• Cut and bend tubing, join pipes, and solder joints; install valves and controls.
• Test systems for leaks and refrigerant pressures; verify proper operation and safety.
• Install and service air conditioning units and chillers up to large tonnage in warehouses and other buildings.
