Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to maintain and repair building systems in a multi-site on-site role in Pasadena, TX. You will work across mechanical, electrical, HVAC and refrigeration disciplines, performing PMs and repairs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HVAC service, holds a CFC Universal Certification, and can lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces. On-call availability after hours and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years’ experience in the HVAC service field.
• Must have CFC Universal Certification.
• Requires knowledge of maintenance fundamentals to handle service and repairs.
• Physically able to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in confined spaces.
• Must respond to alarm calls during off-hours, weekends and holidays.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and repairs on mechanical, electrical, HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Service a portfolio of buildings in a route-based program.
• Plan and lay out required materials for service and repair work.
• Work from drawings and blueprints and operate tools and equipment.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies.
• Attend to on-call duties as required.
