Job summary

Trotter & Morton Facility Services is seeking a certified HVAC Journeyperson Technician in Seattle. You will install, service, and repair complex HVAC and related systems, mentor apprentices, and ensure safety and quality on every job.

Ideal candidates hold EPA 608, 06A Electrical Trainee Card, and 2–3 years of field experience, with strong time management and customer communication skills. Competitive hourly pay plus extensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Trade Certification and EPA 608 Certification are required.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ service experience.
• Chiller and Cooling Tower experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components using hand and power tools.
• Measure and cut piping and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment.
• Install, troubleshoot and overhaul heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and hydronic/boiler systems.
• Start up systems and test for leaks.
• Recharge systems with refrigerant and perform routine maintenance or servicing.
• Repair and replace parts for refrigeration and AC systems.
• Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
• Mentor Apprentices.
