Job summary

Tradesmen International in Pierce County, WA is hiring Journeyman HVAC Technicians to install, service and troubleshoot HVAC systems on projects around Pierce County. This first shift opportunity offers competitive pay based on experience and skill level.

Responsibilities include installing ductwork, furnaces, heat pumps, reading drawings, following safety rules, and working with diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of HVAC field experience.
• Journeyman-level HVAC experience.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification.
• Strong HVAC installation and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
• Ability to work on rooftops, ladders, and in confined spaces.
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Install and service HVAC systems including ductwork, furnaces, heat pumps, condensers, compressors, and thermostats
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydronic, and control system issues
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, and charging
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics
• Use HVAC diagnostic tools and brazing equipment
• Follow OSHA, LOTO, PPE, and all jobsite safety requirements

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman HVAC Technicians for projects located in or around Pierce County, WA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $44-$48/hour based on experience and skill level.
