Moore Mechanical in Petoskey, MI seeks a Senior HVAC Installer to lead by example on residential and commercial projects while mentoring apprentices and junior installers.

You will coordinate field activities, ensure on-time, on-budget completion, and contribute to ongoing leadership development within the team. This role offers a path toward foreman and operations leadership within Moore Mechanical.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of HVAC installation experience.
• Advanced understanding of HVAC systems, installation methods, and industry standards.
• Demonstrated leadership or lead installer experience.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction documents.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum age of 18.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC installations on residential and commercial projects.
• Coordinate daily crew activities and jobsite priorities.
• Provide direction and support to apprentices and installers.
• Promote professionalism, accountability, and teamwork on every project.
• Help maintain productivity and project momentum.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
• Coordinate with Foremen, Project Managers, and other trades.
• Ensure installations comply with manufacturer requirements, code standards, and company expectations.
• Identify and resolve field issues before they impact production.
