Moore Mechanical in Traverse City, MI, is seeking an experienced Senior Plumbing Installer to lead plumbing installations on high-end residential and light commercial projects. You will mentor apprentices, coordinate with field leadership, and ensure projects meet safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a Michigan Journeyman/Master Plumbing License with 5+ years of installation experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read blueprints and building specifications.

Qualifications

• Journeyman/Master Plumbing License in Michigan.
• 5+ years of plumbing installation experience.
• Proven leadership or crew lead experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and job specifications.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation practices, and building codes.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Minimum age of 18 required.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation of plumbing systems for residential and light commercial projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and engineering drawings.
• Coordinate with General Contractors, Project Managers, and field teams.
• Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and company quality standards.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and resolve field issues; maintain accurate job documentation.
• Mentor and train apprentices and junior plumbers.
• Lead crews and support scheduling and workflow coordination.
• Ensure job site safety and enforce company safety procedures.
