Job summary

Peak Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling is seeking a Lead HVAC Technician to join our growing team in Colorado. You will lead installation projects, read blueprints, and coordinate with trades to ensure code-compliant, quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include system installation, ductwork fabrication, low-voltage control wiring, commissioning, and safety adherence. A strong customer-service mindset and teamwork are essential to deliver reliable, lasting results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA Certification required.
• Proficiency with power tools required for HVAC tasks.

Responsibilities

• Blueprint Reading & System Layout: interpret HVAC drawings, blueprints and diagrams to design and lay out HVAC, ductwork, piping and control systems.
• Material Takeoffs & Procurement: generate accurate material take-offs and coordinate with procurement for timely delivery.
• System Installation: install, modify, and repair HVAC, hydronic and refrigeration systems; fabricate/install ductwork and piping.
• Equipment Setup: install furnaces, boilers, condensers, air handlers and related components.
• Controls & Low Voltage: install sensors, thermostats, relays, and zone controls; troubleshoot control systems.
• Testing & Commissioning: perform pressure tests, leak detection, and refrigerant charging; verify operation.
