Daikin Applied Ltd. is seeking an HVAC Service Technician III in Bowie, MD / Washington DC. The role covers maintenance, repair, and optimization of commercial HVAC systems including rooftops, chillers, and boilers. You will mentor junior technicians and participate in ongoing training.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, with preferred Associates HVAC certification, and 5+ years of related experience. EPA Universal Technician and OSHA 10 are preferred licenses.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Associates Degree or HVAC certification preferred.
• 5+ years of related HVAC experience with increasing responsibilities.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment including logging machines, cleaning coils, replacing filters and belts, and lubricating parts.
• Repair or replace defective equipment or wiring on fan coils, chillers, heat pumps, AHUs, rooftops, cooling towers, and related components.
• Inspect equipment to prevent breakdowns and analyze chiller trend data for optimal performance.
• Lead rebuilds and retrofits; mentor Levels I and II technicians through hands-on demonstrations.
• Document billing, timecards, inventory, and service reports; provide customer status updates before, during, and after service calls.
