Job summary

Aircond Corporation in Columbia, SC is seeking a Field HVAC Superintendent to oversee daily field operations, ensure safety and on-time delivery, and manage budgets. You will supervise installation crews, coordinate with project managers, and uphold high quality and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring seven years in commercial HVAC construction with leadership experience, strong scheduling, and the ability to read plans and specifications. EPA certification is expected; OSHA preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years in commercial HVAC construction with leadership roles.
• Experience supervising multiple crews and coordinating project plans.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, construction methods, and scheduling.
• Proven ability to read drawings, specs, RFIs, and documents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise HVAC field installation crews across multiple sites.
• Ensure safety, regulatory, and project specifications compliance.
• Review plans to determine schedules, staffing, and materials.
• Provide daily progress updates to project managers.
• Inspect sites for quality control and resolve issues.
• Train and mentor field technicians and foremen.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate timesheets, change orders, and field reports.
