Job summary
Budderfly is seeking a Senior HVAC Field Commissioning & Quality Specialist to oversee on-site commissioning, testing, and final closeout of HVAC installations across North America. You will act as the primary field representative, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with Budderfly standards.
Travel is extensive (75%+ across the United States). You will coordinate with installation teams, review TAB and commissioning documents, and drive corrective actions to ensure projects meet
Qualifications
- 7+ years of commercial HVAC experience.
- Experience with rooftop units, makeup air, exhaust, packaged equipment, heat pumps, and controls.
- Experience as Site Superintendent or Commissioning Agent.
- Ability to travel 75%+ across the United States.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements and industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Serve as on-site field representative during HVAC installation.
- Lead commissioning, verification, and final acceptance of HVAC projects.
- Act as primary field QA resource, enforcing Budderfly standards.
- Review installation documents, reports, and closeout records for compliance.
- Coordinate with internal teams to address field concerns and drive corrective actions.
