Job summary

Pioneers Orlando campus is seeking a Facilities Technician III to lead maintenance of HVAC and building systems, reporting to Facilities Manager. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and respond to emergencies, ensuring safe, reliable campus operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors, maintaining records in CMMS, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to energy-efficiency projects.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain all required State and EPA refrigerant certifications.
• 3–5 years of hands-on HVAC experience.
• Own basic hand tools or commit to acquiring them.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to respond to after-hours emergency maintenance within 1 hour.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for campus HVAC systems.
• Support maintenance strategies to extend campus assets.
• Provide leadership to maintenance staff when needed.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors for safety and quality.
• Maintain records of HVAC activities and regulatory compliance.
• Perform HVAC system operation, troubleshooting, and repairs campus-wide.
