Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an HVAC Senior Engineer to oversee mission-critical central utilities in a state-of-the-art wafer fab. You will ensure 24/7 reliability, lead troubleshooting, and optimize maintenance programs while applying 6S and safety best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in facilities engineering, mechanical systems, or HVAC/MEP design and construction.
• PE license or EIT certification; familiarity with ASHRAE standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert engineering support for operation and maintenance of critical facilities equipment.
• Analyze performance using data; ensure systems operate within specifications.
• Lead troubleshooting, including off-hours response, to minimize downtime.
• Forecast utility system capacity and develop plans for redundancy and scalability.
• Manage and forecast operating expenditures; drive cost-reduction efforts.
• Contribute to SOPs; implement best practices across the site.
