Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama is seeking a Senior Maintenance Coordinator to support the Maintenance Manager in planning and overseeing maintenance operations across facilities. This role requires handling cost control, preventive maintenance scheduling, and coordinating major repairs or construction projects.

The position is onsite with a 24/7 on-call requirement, involving reading and interpreting building systems drawings, and ensuring safe, clean working conditions across campuses.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• State board certification as Electrical or HVAC contractor; or equivalent qualifications (bachelor's degree in Engineering/Building Science acceptable).
• Three years of experience in commercial or institutional building systems.
• Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and/or building maintenance/construction.
• Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating, etc.).
• Experience reading electrical and mechanical drawings, wiring schemes and control diagrams.
• Experience diagnosing facility system problems and recommending solutions.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project.
• Excellent planning and leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid US driver's license.
• Willingness to work on call 24/7.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong Commercial HVAC and controls experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Support Maintenance Manager in developing, leading and monitoring maintenance processes.
• Assist with cost control, preventive maintenance, schedules, personnel work assignments and major repairs/construction projects.
• On-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to resolve facility issues affecting working conditions.
