Abstrakt Marketing Group is seeking a Senior Commercial HVAC Estimator to own the estimating process for large-scale commercial, industrial, and institutional projects in Bartlett, TN. This on-site role defines pricing strategies, builds client relationships, and leads a team to deliver accurate bids that drive company growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial HVAC estimating experience.
• Proven experience estimating self-performed commercial HVAC projects valued at $10 million or more.
• Experience with design-build and plan-spec projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, piping, sheet metal, controls, and mechanical equipment.
• Proficiency with estimating software, takeoff software, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for commercial HVAC service, retrofit, replacement, and new construction projects.
• Estimate complex design-build and plan-spec mechanical projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and documents for pricing.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and perform site visits when needed.
• Solicit and negotiate pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
• Maintain estimating databases and historical cost information.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth project handoff.
