Job summary

Hart Mechanical Contractors Inc. in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineering Manager to lead engineering and technical coordination for large-scale commercial and high-rise projects.

You will serve as the technical authority for HVAC design, manage submittals, RFIs, commissioning support, and collaborate with project managers, field teams, and vendors to deliver projects on time and to code and constructability standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 10+ years HVAC engineering/design experience.
• Experience on commercial/high-rise construction projects.
• Experience reviewing submittals and HVAC shop drawings.
• Experience managing RFIs and engineering documentation via Procore or similar platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide HVAC engineering leadership across multiple projects.
• Review and coordinate HVAC submittals and shop drawings for correctness and constructability.
• Coordinate with project managers, procurement, vendors, and field teams.
• Manage RFIs and engineering documentation to keep projects on schedule.
• Support commissioning, startup, balancing, and turnover activities.
