Job summary

Hart Mechanical Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineering Manager to lead the engineering and technical coordination for large-scale commercial and high-rise projects in Miami.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of HVAC design and engineering experience and the ability to manage submittals, RFIs, and field coordination. You will oversee design coordination, shop drawing reviews, and field support, ensuring code compliance, constructability, and project

Qualifications

• 10+ years of HVAC engineering and design experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale commercial/high-rise projects.
• Deep understanding of HVAC systems, equipment selection, ventilation, and mechanical design principles.
• Experience reviewing submittals, equipment packages, and shop drawings.
• Experience managing RFIs and engineering documentation via construction platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC engineering leadership and technical oversight across multiple projects.
• Review HVAC shop drawings for code compliance, coordination, and constructability.
• Provide engineering guidance to support field installation and project delivery.
• Manage HVAC-related RFIs through Procore and coordinate responses.
• Ensure timely turnover documentation and alignment with codes and standards.
