Job summary

CBRE is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for large commercial HVAC systems at a major manufacturing client. You will conduct proactive performance testing and deliver ongoing maintenance within a dynamic engineering team.

The role requires a refrigeration license or Universal 608, 4–5 years in related work, and the ability to supervise shifts, troubleshoot, and implement solutions. Local on-site work in Virginia area is expected.

Qualifications

• HVAC/building maintenance experience required.
• Refrigeration license or Universal 608 certification required.
• Commercial real estate or facility management exposure preferred.
• Willingness to work day/evening/night shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for complex HVAC systems.
• Perform proactive testing and scheduled maintenance.
• Install, repair, calibrate control systems and instruments.
• Troubleshoot failures and implement corrective actions.
• Coach teammates and lead by example within CBRE RISE values.
