Job Description: Senior HVAC Engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION

• Conduct construction document reviews as required.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects during the planning, design, and construction phases, including project startup.
• Demonstrate design experience in nuclear industry HVAC design work, adhering to related codes and standards.
• Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations and specifications.
• Familiarity with computer-aided drafting applications is required.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of Science in engineering with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in nuclear design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related engineering phases.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.
• Ability to work in a diverse work environment.
• Satisfactory results from pre-employment screening, including background check and drug screening.

Desired Qualifications

• Professional Engineer License (not required but preferred).
• Previous nuclear experience.

LOCATION

Position will be 100% onsite in Greenville, SC. Local candidates or those willing to relocate at their own expense are preferred.
