Job summary

AAON, Inc. is seeking anElectrical Design Engineer to develop models and assemblies for HVAC equipment, including conceptual designs and automation. You will create schematics, review designs, and collaborate with engineers to ensure seamless integration across systems.

Ideal candidates have a two-year technical degree with 3–5 years in HVAC or related fields, and familiarity with Eplan ECE is a plus. Travel and a fast-paced environment are expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop models and drawings including conceptual designs and parametric modeling.
• Use programming to auto-generate BOMs and electrical schematics.
• Review schematics and suggest design improvements.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure electrical-system integration.
• Support production during prototypes and launches.
• Help develop design standards with the Design Engineering team.
• Assist with DFMEAs, PFMEAs, CFD, FEA and seismic evaluations.
