Job summary

AAON and BASX seek an Electrical Engineer to design, test, and support electrical systems for HVAC equipment. You will develop reliable electrical solutions, support product development, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Collaborate with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure system integration, analyze issues, and contribute to continuous improvement in performance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of electrical engineering experience; HVAC experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, circuits, and control systems.
• Familiarity with CAD tools, testing equipment, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control systems for HVAC products.
• Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical components and systems.
• Analyze and resolve electrical issues in development and production environments.
• Maintain and update engineering documentation, drawings, specifications, and test reports.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure system integration.
