Job summary

AAON, Inc. in the United States seeks an Electrical Design Supervisor to coordinate, schedule, and manage daily activities within the Product Development Electrical Design team, responsible for developing and creating parametric CAD models and assemblies for HVAC equipment.

The role provides coaching and mentorship, reviews schematics, ensures integration with other systems, supports production during prototypes and launches, and helps establish design standards and accurate bills of materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field with 5 years HVAC or related experience, or a two-year technical degree with 10 years experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Electrical Designers, coordinating with Manager, Design to ensure timely project completion.
• Review schematics and provide design recommendations for electrical systems.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure electrical designs integrate with other systems.
• Support production during prototypes and launches, acting as the go-to for manufacturing issues.
• Develop design standards in collaboration with the Design Engineering team.
• Define complete bills of materials and specify part usage.
