Job summary

AAON, Inc. seeks an experienced engineer to lead the Product Development Electrical Design team. You will coordinate, schedule, and manage activities, developing parametric CAD models and assemblies for HVAC equipment while guiding Electrical Designers with supervision from design managers.

You will review schematics, collaborate across disciplines, and support prototypes and production launches, helping ensure robust, compliant electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years’ HVAC or similar industry experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, schedules and manages daily activities of the Electrical Design team.
• Develops parametric models and assemblies using CAD for HVAC equipment.
• Provides technical leadership and coaching to Electrical Designers.
• Reviews schematics and collaborates with engineers to integrate designs.
• Supports production during prototypes and launches; tackles manufacturing issues.
• Contributes to design standards and BOMs; participates in DFMEAs, CFD, and FEA.
