Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field with 5 years HVAC experience.
• Or a two-year technical degree with 10 years HVAC experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily activities of the Electrical Design team using CAD for HVAC equipment.
• Supervise Electrical Designers with input from Design Manager to meet project deadlines.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the Electrical Design Team.
• Review schematics and make design recommendations.
• Collaborate to ensure electrical designs integrate with other systems.
• Work with Engineers and management to determine design solutions.
• Support production during prototypes and launches for smooth releases.
• Develop design standards with the Design Engineering team.
• Prepare complete bills of materials for parts usage.
• Support DFMEAs, PFMEAs, CFD, FEA, and seismic evaluations and testing.
• Adhere to safety standards (UL, CE, NEC, IBC, NFPA).
• Maintain ongoing professional knowledge through workshops and publications.
