Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced HVAC Designer to join our Building Mechanical team in the United States, with a focus on heavy industrial facilities. You will lead design efforts, perform field investigations, size and select equipment, and prepare construction documents, coordinating with a multi-discipline team to meet client expectations.

Bring ten years of HVAC design experience, Revit proficiency, and knowledge of industry codes.

Qualifications

• At least ten years’ experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of HVAC systems.
• Adaptability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of HVAC systems.
• Development of conceptual design and preliminary design documents, including sizing calculations, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), P&IDs, and general arrangements.
• Development of final construction documents for systems such as chilled water and cooling water.
• Coordination with other disciplines.
