Daikin Applied is seeking a Senior Designer to develop and document parts and assemblies for HVAC products, from conception to manufacturing. You will generate production drawings, manage BOMs, and ensure manufacturability, quality, and cost considerations are integrated.

The role is on-site in Staunton, VA, with travel up to 10–15% internationally. You will lead or participate in cross-functional teams, mentor other designers, and contribute to projects across small to large scopes.

Competenze

• Design experience with sheet metal and HVAC products.
• Proficient in producing manufacturing drawings per standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Mansioni

• Create engineering documentation ( SolidWorks, modeling, fabrication drawings, BOMs).
• Translate engineering intent into manufacturable docs.
• Support weekly production schedules with documentation for original/custom designs.
