Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 6-10 years of engineering design experience.
• Experience designing HVAC systems for various building types.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or active progress toward licensure.

Responsibilities

• Leading HVAC system design, engineering calculations, equipment selections, and construction documentation.
• Designing heating hot water, chilled water, ventilation, refrigerant-based cooling, and building automation controls.
• Preparing technical specifications and supporting code-compliant mechanical system designs.
• Collaborating with BIM and digital design teams to develop project deliverables.
• Supporting design reviews and identifying opportunities to improve system performance and sustainability.
• Working directly with clients and project stakeholders to evaluate needs and recommend effective solutions.
