Job summary
Harris seeks an experienced mechanical engineer to lead HVAC design for commercial, healthcare, data center and other complex facilities. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to develop high-performance, code-compliant building systems that balance performance, efficiency and constructability.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- 6–10 years in engineering design experience.
- HVAC system design experience across varied building types.
- PE license or active licensure progress preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead HVAC system design, engineering calculations, equipment selections, and construction documentation.
- Design heating hot water, chilled water, ventilation, refrigerant-based cooling, and building automation controls.
- Prepare technical specifications and ensure code-compliant mechanical designs.
- Collaborate with BIM/digital design teams for high-quality project deliverables.
- Support design reviews and identify opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Work with clients and stakeholders to evaluate needs and propose effective solutions.
