Job summary

Building Controls & Services Inc. – a member of AIR Control Concepts family – seeks a Mechanical Service Technician Level 3 in Wichita, KS to start up, check out, and troubleshoot HVAC and building automation systems on service projects.

Requires a strong HVAC/mechanical background, safety awareness, and the ability to read blueprints; travel in Kansas/Midwest; EPA certification preferred; benefits include health, retirement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Minimum ten years of experience in HVAC.
• Minimum ten years of experience in mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of building automation systems and electrical concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.

Responsibilities

• 60% Performs mechanical inspections, service, and troubleshooting.
• Responds to service calls and documents findings and repairs.
• 20% Provides technical assistance and trains teammates on systems.
