CMW, LLC in Wichita, KS is seeking a Controls Technician to join its Building Automation & Controls division. You will install, program, and commission building automation systems, ensuring they meet the intended sequences of operation.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in controls, strong electrical troubleshooting, and the ability to read electrical and controls drawings. This local role offers growth with a respected contractor and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in the controls industry with building automation experience.
• Ability to read construction, electrical, and controls drawings.
• Strong electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with 24V, 0-10 VDC, and 4-20 mA signals.
• Experience with HVAC systems and sequences of operation.
• Proficient with Visio, Bluebeam, and MS Office.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Associate's degree in electronics or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Own controls work from rough-in to turnover.
• Install, wire, and terminate controllers, sensors, valves, actuators, and field devices.
• Download, test, and verify programming and graphics.
• Perform point-to-point checkout, functional testing, and commissioning.
• Track down and fix control, electrical, and equipment problems on new and existing systems.
• Make sure every system runs to its sequence of operation and the project specs.
• Work from construction, electrical, and controls drawings.
• Keep project managers, trades, GCs, and building owners informed.
• Maintain clean documentation, including as-builts, checkout sheets, and service reports.
