Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based HVAC/Controls professional to commission, program, and service systems at customer locations. You will document verification, coordinate with customers, and ensure on-site installations meet requirements.

The role emphasizes safety, product knowledge, and hands-on problem solving. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or technical training, 7+ years in HVAC/Controls, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, or certificate of completion from an accredited technical school is required.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
• Previous experience with DDC controls system preferred.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for commissioning, programming, setting up graphics, communications link, end to end testing, troubleshooting and servicing on assigned projects.
• Responsible for documenting point to point verification, sequence of operations validation and job close out requirements.
• Serves as the direct customer contact and provides servicing of products and equipment on assigned projects at customer locations.
• Coordinates with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs, analyzing layouts and coordinating materials.
• Keeps current on Trane products for installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of direct digital control systems.
• Enforces safety and maintains accountability of assets by recording use and conditions.
• Maintains flexibility to work overtime/weekends, including occasional overnight stays.
