Job summary

ENFRA is seeking an HVAC Controls Specialist II with a strong background in building automation, HVAC, commissioning, or test and balance. The role focuses on RCx and Cx scopes to optimize energy and project outcomes, with approximately 50% travel to job sites and both on-site and remote work options.

You will collaborate with construction management, facilities, engineers, and trade partners to deliver reliable results.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent in HVAC, energy management or building automation.
• +7 years of commissioning or related field experience in mechanical, electrical, BMS or operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and safety focus.
• Analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Self-directed with minimal direction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud-based commissioning software.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in line with ENFRA policies, safety guidelines.
• Document, collaborate, and communicate with project delivery team and manager.
• Execute and complete assigned tasks and deliverables on schedule.
• Participate in site surveys, reviews, and commissioning design activities.
• Document commissioning scopes using CxAlloy; develop tests.
• Develop pre-functional checklists and functional performance tests.
• Implement energy conservation measures independently or with partners.
• Oversee and supervise field trade partners when required.
• Maintain energy performance awareness and project documentation.
