Job summary

ENFRA is seeking an HVAC Controls Specialist II to evaluate, program, optimize, and test building systems for RCx and Cx scopes. The role supports project delivery with design reviews, documentation, and collaboration across teams.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in building automation and commissioning, with excellent communication, safety awareness, and the ability to work independently. Travel up to 50% is required, with both on-site and remote work elements.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent in HVAC, Energy Management, Building Automation or related technical field.
• +7 years of commissioning or related field experience with mechanical, electrical, building automation systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned duties in accordance with ENFRA policies, procedures, safety guidelines.
• Documentation, collaboration, and communication with project delivery team and Team Manager on a regular basis.
• Execute and complete assigned tasks and deliverables in a timely manner.
• Participate in site surveys, documentation review, and due diligence to determine facility conditions and energy conservation measures.
• Develop pre-functional checklists and functional performance tests in CxAlloy.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and modify building system programming to implement energy conservation measures.
• Oversee functional performance tests as part of construction scope acceptance.
• Provide on-site supervision of trade partners and sub consultants when required.
