Job summary

ENFRA LLC is seeking a Controls Specialist III to set up building automation control systems, including programming, graphics, and trends. The role involves leading onsite management of controls and low voltage subcontractors, starting up systems, and developing advanced sequences for critical infrastructure such as central plants.

You will collaborate with the design team, perform field surveys, and ensure commissioning documentation is complete.

Qualifications

• Experience with major building automation systems (JCI, Siemens, Honeywell, Trane, Tridium, Schneider).
• 10+ years of experience in controls or related field.
• Expert knowledge of commercial HVAC systems.
• Ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
• Basic planning skills and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and pre-construction: develop sequences of operations to improve energy efficiency.
• Assess existing BAS to aid design team with equipment selection.
• Conduct field surveys to identify equipment and BAS capabilities.
• Create room ventilation schedules per applicable codes.
• Provide feedback on design alternatives and pricing decisions.
• Develop control submittal packages with parts lists.
