Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Software Engineer to perform master systems integration of building management systems, create databases, and develop user interfaces per project specifications. The role includes on-site and remote support, field startup, and system commissioning for large enterprise clients on a global scale.

You will program control applications, validate systems against design documents, and develop detailed system graphics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5–8 years of relevant experience in building automation or software-enabled control systems.
Experience solving moderately complex problems using established procedures and judgment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations and panel layouts.
Program control applications using various software tools.
Site checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications.
Verify operation against project specs, sales proposals, and design docs.
Develop system graphics displays per specifications or proposals.
Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
Perform advanced system evaluation and diagnostics.
Troubleshoot escalated issues and document resolutions.
