Job summary

Control Air Enterprises LLC - Northern Division in Livermore, CA is seeking an organized HVAC construction project manager with 5+ years of mechanical commercial/institutional experience to oversee projects from our Livermore office.

Responsibilities include managing subcontractors, leading coordination meetings, maintaining documentation, bidding, procurement, project controls, and mentoring staff. We offer medical, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, LTD, FSA, holidays, PTO, ESOP.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical contracting is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field is preferred.
• Must be an excellent listener and communicator.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Knowledge of California Building Code.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor scope and contractual requirements.
• Lead mechanical discussions during project coordination meetings.
• Organize, file, and track all project coordination and correspondence.
• Develop and maintain bid packages to subcontractors and vendors.
• Scope out subcontractors and vendors and issue purchase orders.
• Manage all project control procedures and develop additional items as needed.
• Mentor project engineers, field employees, and other office staff through feedback and communication.
• Review and approve documentation for submittals, schedules, change orders, warranties.
