Job summary

Control Air Enterprises LLC is seeking an HVAC Construction Project Manager to join our San Diego office. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical contracting projects, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring documentation and schedules are maintained.

A minimum of five years in mechanical commercial/institutional management is required. The role emphasizes leadership, organization, and clear communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of mechanical contracting experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in construction related field preferred but not required.
• Must be strong listener and communicator with a professional image.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor scope and performance contractual requirements.
• Lead mechanical conversations during project coordination meetings.
• Organize, file, and track all project coordination and correspondence.
• Develop and maintain bid packages to subcontractors and vendors.
• Scope out subcontractors and vendors and issue purchase orders.
• Manage all project control procedures and develop additional items as needed.
• Mentor project engineers, field staff, and office staff through feedback and communication.
• Review and approve documentation for tracking projects (submittals, schedules, COs, etc.).
• Manage manpower, sequences, procurement, and schedules.
• Oversee testing, permits, and occupancy notifications.
