Job summary

GLC Business Services is seeking a Project Manager to lead HVAC, mechanical, and piping construction projects in Western New York. You will manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, and field operations, while coordinating with owners, engineers, and contractors to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years of PM experience in mechanical construction, and travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience in the mechanical construction industry.
• Experience managing HVAC, piping, and mechanical construction projects.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage HVAC, mechanical, and piping construction projects from inception through completion.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, client relations, and field operations.
• Lead owner, architect, and contractor (OAC) meetings and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and trade partners.
• Monitor progress, ensure safety compliance, and take corrective actions to keep projects on time and on budget.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency and manage change orders.
