Job summary

CTI in Portland, ME is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our service team. This hands-on role covers HVAC service, troubleshooting, building automation, controls, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and technical field support across a wide range of equipment.

You will diagnose mechanical and controls issues, support start-ups, and assist other technicians with advanced troubleshooting and system optimization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC mechanical.
• Working knowledge of all HVAC system types.
• EPA 608 Type II or Universal certification.
• State of Maine Gas License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC and control system issues.
• Assist with start-ups and commissioning.
• Prepare timely service reports with findings and parts used.
• Update CTI systems daily and communicate with customers.
