Job summary

The Haskell Company in Oklahoma City is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to lead design, analysis, and execution of high‑voltage transmission projects from 69kV to 500kV. You will mentor junior staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

You will serve as a technical expert in PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and PLS-TOWER, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one U.S. state (or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
8+ years of experience in high-voltage transmission line engineering (69kV-500kV).
Proficiency in PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and/or PLS-TOWER; foundation analysis tools such as MFAD, LPILE, or FAD Tools.

Responsibilities

Lead and perform design and analysis of overhead transmission lines, including structure selection, routing, line modeling, and foundation engineering.
Develop and review PLS-CADD models and structure spotting, plan & profile drawings, loading calculations, conductor sag/tension analysis, and foundation designs.
Provide technical support during bidding, procurement, and construction phases; assist with Owner's Engineer services.
