Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp, a leading solar and storage solutions provider, seeks a Substation Execution Manager to lead engineering projects across the renewable energy space. You will drive planning, design, procurement, and construction coordination to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.

The role requires a strong engineering background and 5+ years in project management within renewables, with hybrid work from home and Houston office and travel up to 20% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 5+ years of engineering project management experience in renewable energy.
• Proven experience managing large-scale renewable energy projects (solar, battery storage).
• Strong technical background in engineering design, construction, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with Primavera and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of engineering projects from planning through construction and completion, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with client needs.
• Develop and manage detailed schedules, budgets, and resources; adjust as needed.
• Oversee technical aspects including design, engineering, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead project meetings, track progress, and address risks and issues.
