Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Substation Physical Engineer | Regional Technical Leader to lead HV substation design and project delivery across 230kV–345kV projects. You will serve as technical authority, mentor staff, support business growth, and drive quality and safety in multi-office teams.

The role requires a PE license, 15 years of related experience, and willingness to travel. Locations include multiple U.S. offices; travel up to 10% is common.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV substation design and project delivery from planning to commissioning.

• Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams across offices and with clients.
