Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or PE license as minimum
• Ability to analyze complex electrical and mechanical systems
• Knowledge of standards, codes, and engineering practices
• 7+ years of professional engineering experience
• Ability to apply advanced engineering principles to complex issues
• 3 related career experiences or leadership in industry groups
• PE license or advanced degree may reduce required experience

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for T&S design standards for substation voltages 13kV–500kV
• Act as technical lead and point of contact for material design standards
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement standards
• Provide technical training and mentorship to others
• Interface with IEEE, EPRI, EEI, MEA and other groups for improvements
• Investigate failure modes to improve materials and designs
