IREN Group in Sweetwater, TX is seeking a Construction High Voltage QA/QC Inspector. You will verify HV substations and distribution systems, perform QA/QC inspections, and coordinate turnover to 24/7 operations with field teams and contractors. This onsite role demands safety focus and detailed documentation.

Responsibilities include witnessing tests, reviewing ITPs, and ensuring compliance with NEC/NESC, IFC drawings, and project quality plans. Rotation schedule and on-site work are required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years HV construction experience.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
• OSHA 30, NFPA 70E or HV safety training preferred.
• Ability to read IFC drawings, test reports and wiring diagrams.

Responsabilités

• Perform QA/QC inspections for HV construction activities.
• Verify installations comply with IFC drawings and standards.
• Witness and document electrical testing activities.
• Review ITPs, procedures and hold points.
• Generate punch lists and track closure to turnover.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation and turnover packages.
• Coordinate with utilities and third-party testers.
• Provide field guidance to improve workmanship.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and OSHA requirements.
