Job summary

IREN is seeking a High Voltage (HV) Electrical Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable power delivery for data center infrastructure. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HV systems, coordinate switching and grounding, and supervise contractors to maintain substations in compliance with NFPA 70E and NEC standards.

Qualifications

• High-voltage power systems experience (13.8kV–345kV) in data centers/substations/utility environments.
• Strong knowledge of HV equipment operation and safety standards.
• Experience reading electrical one-lines, schematics, and relay coordination studies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HV equipment across substations.
• Coordinate switching, isolation, and grounding per NFPA 70E/OSHA standards.
• Maintain substations and associated control systems; manage vendor services.
