Round-Peg Solutions (RPS) is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer with expertise in high-voltage power supplies. The role targets work on systems 50kV+ and offers a lucrative base salary, equity at pre-IPO stage, and comprehensive benefits.

You will be instrumental in bringing challenging HV designs from bench to aerospace/defense hardware. Ideal candidates bring hands-on HV hardware experience, strong fundamentals in power electronics, and a track record of working on

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing high-voltage power supplies or power conversion hardware.
• Experience with 50kV+ systems.
• Aerospace/defense hardware development background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design high-voltage power supplies, power conversion circuits and related electronics.
• Evaluate converter topologies, switching approaches and control strategies.
• Develop and integrate transformers, magnetics and high-voltage components.
• Address isolation, insulation, thermal performance, corona and reliability.
• Move designs from simulation through prototype, bench testing and qualification.
