Job summary

Arevon is recruiting a Senior Manager, HV Engineering to provide high voltage technical oversight for utility-scale PV and BESS projects from development through construction. You will lead HV design efforts, develop scopes, review commissioning plans, and liaise with EOR/EPC teams and internal stakeholders.

The role requires 8+ years in HV engineering within solar or energy storage, deep knowledge of HV equipment, codes, and standards, plus willingness to travel to active sites and development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years as HV engineer in solar, BESS, or related industry.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of HV design, SCADA, and monitoring systems.
• Familiarity with NEC/NESC/IEEE standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV designs from development to Final Completion for utility-scale PV/BESS projects.
• Develop HV engineering scopes, review commissioning requirements, and respond to technical RFIs.
• Manage 3rd party contractors (EOR/EPC) and negotiations, including scope, cost, schedule.
• Review HV equipment specs, data sheets, drawings, and calculations.
• Ensure HV design meets codes and standards; travel to sites as needed.
