Job summary

Integrated Power Services is seeking an experienced Senior Circuit Breaker Technician to join our climate-controlled Breaker Shop in Texas. You will lead high-, mid-, and low-voltage breaker work and collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, rebuilding, retrofitting, testing, and repairing circuit breakers and switchgear from top brands, with opportunities for overnight travel and mentorship of junior staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working with low, medium, and high voltage circuit breakers.
• Ability to troubleshoot, rebuild, retrofit, test, and repair switchgear.
• Mentor junior technicians and ensure safety adherence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform advanced work on voltage circuit breakers (GE, Westinghouse, Powell, ABB, ITE).
• Troubleshoot, rebuild, retrofit, test, and repair switchgear and related electrical apparatus.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior technicians.
• Lead on-site breaker testing and repair projects, including overnight travel as required.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to optimize shop operations.
