Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a skilled Breaker Technician to join our team. You will work on low, medium, and high voltage switchgear, including breakers from GE, Westinghouse, Powell, ABB, and ITE, performing troubleshooting, rebuilds, testing, and repairs. Most tasks occur in our shop with occasional onsite travels as required by customers.

The role emphasizes safety, precise diagnostics, and the ability to read schematics while supporting a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; electro-mechanical training preferred.
• Testing skills and understanding of electrical and mechanical testing procedures
• Experience with an OEM breaker manufacturer is a plus
• Ability to travel as needed for onsite support

Responsibilities

• Work on low & medium voltage circuit breakers (GE, Westinghouse, Powell, ABB, ITE).
• Troubleshoot, rebuild, retrofit, test, and repair switchgear and related equipment.
• Teardown and assembly of breakers, contactors, and related apparatus.
• Shop work with occasional onsite support; travel driven by customer demand
