Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) in Dallas, TX seeks an experienced Circuit Breaker Technician for our climate-controlled Breaker Shop. You will work on low-, medium-, and high-voltage breakers, performing rebuilds, testing, and calibration for major OEMs.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical testing, reading schematics, and safe operation of testing equipment. Occasional travel to job sites may be required as needed; the company emphasizes safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; trade school or apprenticeship preferred
• 2+ years of circuit breaker experience (480V–25kV) or 5+ years in industrial mechanical work
• Experience with electrical/mechanical testing and schematics is helpful
• PEARL certification or equivalent skills is a plus

Responsibilities

• Work on low-, medium-, and high-voltage circuit breakers from major manufacturers
• Troubleshoot, rebuild, retrofit, test, and repair switchgear and related equipment
• Perform certified testing and document results prior to shipping
• Occasionally travel for on-site breaker testing and repair
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
