Florida Department of Children and Families seeks a Senior Human Services Program Specialist to teach preservice training, located in multiple central region locations in Florida. The role is fully onsite with standard daytime hours and requires extensive knowledge of ESS program concepts, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities include monitoring compliance, analyzing program effectiveness, and recommending improvements within federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of public assistance policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of computer software.
• Ability to organize and manage time effectively.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to prepare and present information to the public.

Responsabilités

• Monitors program service areas for compliance with federal and state program and fiscal regulations and policies.
• Identifies deficiencies, analyzes program effectiveness and efficiencies.
• Makes specific recommendations for improving program compliance capabilities and areas of management where additional evaluation is needed.
• Develops and coordinates implementation strategies for problems assigned in accordance with federal, state and department objectives.
• Conducts investigations into employee misconduct and areas of potential fraud and abuse.
• Reviews proposed changes in laws and regulations to determine the impact on departmental policy and processes.
• Performs related work as required.
• Complies with and monitors compliance (when applicable) of the mandatory requirements in section 215.422, F.S. and Chapter 3A-24 of the F.A.C.
